Pre-Concert Lectures -- One Hour Prior to Concerts
It's often standing room only at these excellent pre-concert lectures with noted program annotator Eric Bromberger. Dr. Bromberger's credits include writing for the Washington Performing Arts Society at the Kennedy Center, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, Bank of America-Boston Celebrity Series, San Francisco Performances, La Jolla Music Society, Stotsenberg Recital Series at Pepperdine University, San Diego's Mainly Mozart Festival, and Minnesota Orchestra among others. He shares the lectern this season with visiting composers and other guest lecturers and artists.
Where: Recital Hall at the rear entrance to Mandeville Auditorium.
When: 7:00 pm for Saturday concerts / 2:00 pm for Sunday concerts
Cost: Free with concert ticket.
Pre-concert lectures last about 25 minutes.
